Another Week "Off"

Starting another round of chemotherapy yesterday was out of the question, according to the doc, a judgment that came as a relief to me.  I was dreading starting another round when I was still having so much trouble digesting normally.  We should start the third round next Monday, April 24, come what may. 

If you pray for me, pray that this week "off," will see the side-effects of previous chemo treatments finally subside so that I can regain some strength for the next round.  The neuropathy has become significantly limiting, so pray that I'll be able to use my hands and fingers better.  Those of you who have had to read my handwriting from time ti time would be apalled to see it now. 

With all the trouble I've had lately, I am truly thankful to the Lord for letting me be so functional on Sunday mornings.  Some Sundays I've been in much rougher shape before and/or after church, but the Lord has been gracious to me for those hours with the church.  I'm not presuming on the future, but He sure has been good to me in that regard so far.
